FYP2008 Multi-touch table top instrument

Idea:
This FYP project consists of two different portions including the hardware and programming software. The hardware portion involves building a multi-touch table top using Frustrated Total Internal Infra-Red (FTIR). This tabletop enables multi-touch which can replace the use of IR pens on interactive table tops. It is very useful in real-time applications and also for applications which involves multi-touch. The software involves the programming of a multi-touch table application - a musical instrument which involves the introduction of orchestra instruments to children.
